AUDIO DRAMAS
"A movie without picture," an audio drama is a purely acoustic performance, relying on dialogue, music, and sound effects to tell a story without a visual component. Similar to a radio play or audio play, it uses sound to create characters, settings, and plot, allowing listeners to use their imagination to visualize the action. These can range from audiobooks enhanced with sound effects to episodic stories to modern scripted podcasts, encompassing a wide variety of fictional and non-fictional genres. ā
DUET NARRATIONS
Audiobooks performed as duet narrations utilize multiple actors, the same as dual narrations, however, in duet narrations, actors are assigned to read character lines in additional to characters points of view to create a more realistic listening experience for listeners.
Duet narrations have become popular, with more rights holders opting for character lines to be voiced by a dedicated actor.
